If I could get everyone's attention, please? Good, that's good practice for tomorrow. I understand that tomorrow will be all about me�and Tim. But tonight I wanted to take a moment and talk about the incredible people that helped get me here and make all of this magic happen.
Sarah is my Maid of Honor, and while I know I should knock on wood before I say this, I have to tell you that she has helped pull this whole thing off without a hitch. She has ordered flowers, picked up the dress, kept that same dress safe from my tendency to spill things, made an emergency kit and held my hand every time I start to hyperventilate. Sarah and I have been friends since we were 5 years old. In kindergarten she found me crying in the coat closet because another child had called me stupid. She took care of me then too, and I wouldn't be half as confident, successful or happy today without her.
Danielle is my cousin and the friend I will always have, no matter where we live. She is an amazing person, who has travelled the world and lived in exciting countries with exotic people. Even when she was in Thailand, Costa Rica or Ghana, though, she always managed to call and catch up. She never forgot my birthday and she never seemed to forget the most boring cousin she has. She's been amazing just for flying out here to be with me today.
Last of the bridal party, but certainly not the least, Joni was my college roommate and the best thing that could ever happen to a shy student like me. She was the one who introduced me to Tim, and for that she deserves all the praise in the world. Get ready for the reception tomorrow, because you just know that she'll be leading the conga line!
Finally, I want to thank my parents, Kathy and John, for showing me all the love and support in the world. They have been the perfect model for a strong and lasting marriage for 36 years and I don't know what I would do without them.
I wish I could thank all of you individually for being here, but there are going to be enough toasts 24 hours without me taking up more time. Thank you all for being here to celebrate with me the most wonderful thing on earth. To love!
