Valentines Day Toast Positive

Years ago I hated this,

The cheesy, mushy stuff.

Expensive gifts and trifling cards

Were all commercial fluff.

True meaning on St. V-Day

Was the stuff of myth and lore.

But then you came along and now

I don't think that anymore.

I like to see the hearts now,

'Cuz my own is so aglow,

And cherubs just remind me

I've been touched by Cupid's bow.

For fun dates on this holiday,

The years held very few

But now that's past,

I raise my glass,

A toast, my love, to you.
